The tragic situation in the Middle East is ever escalating...From Iraq to Lebanon and most recently Gaza...It has gone beyond differing cultures, politics or religion. It is our responsibility to help those in need.

This painting was initially created in 2006 to help in the humanitarian relief promoting the idea of hope for Lebanon and its people. Inspired from the song “Ya Beirut Sitt Al Dunia; (Beirut, Lady of theWorld), written by Syrian poet Nizar Qabbani and sung by world re-knowned Lebanese singer, Majdah Al-Roumi. The verse was selected from this beautiful song that speaks of rising from under the rubble like the almond flowers in April.This painting is dedicated to ALL the Arab nations in need of our support.
